IRELAND - CLASSROOM BASED COURSE
1 Day Adobe Creative Cloud for Photographers - Lightroom & Photoshop or Elements (Classroom)
Aimed at those who want to use Lightroom & Photoshop/Elements together to improve all of their images.
Lightroom Level 1 - Foundation Course

Lightroom and Photoshop/Elements are key tools in any photographers toolbox. While each one of these pieces of software are great in certain areas, they are not winners in all. Essentially photographers today need both (for the purposes of this course, we place Photoshop and Elements in the same category). Our belief is that every photographer needs Lightroom AND Photoshop, or Lightroom AND Elements. This course will teach you how to get up and running in both pieces of software, and will show you how to tightly integrate both.

WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?
This course is ideal for those who have the Adobe Cloud Photographers Package (Lightroom CC & Photoshop CC), but is also perfectly suited for anyone who has Lightroom 5 or 6 and Photoshop CS5/CS6 or Elements 12 thru 15.

LIGHTROOM
This course will train you how to get the best out of the Library Module to quickly catalogue all of your images, old and new. This part of the course will set you up with an efficient and effective workflow method, including how to catalogue all of your old archive of images (see full list below).

DEVELOP MODULE
This course also brings you through the specific techniques needed to produce professional quality photos at almost any size. The key concept on this section will be "non-destructive editing". The great advantage of non-destructive editing is that you can easily change image effects or adjustments weeks or months later without having to undo all the work done. This also allows quick editing and increased flexibility. Everyone who uses Lightroom® should know these techniques because they really make Lightroom® very powerful. Most of the techniques shown will apply to Lightroom 5, 6 and CC (see full list below).

PHOTOSHOP/ELEMENTS
This course will place a heavy emphasis on using Photoshop/Elements in ways that Lightroom simply does not allow; topics such as layers, layer opacity, masks, canvas and image size, and text effects are all covered. We will also show you how to flip between Lightroom and Photoshop/Elements with ease, and will highlight when and why you would need to do this (see full list below).

All of the techniques shown on this course apply to Elements 9 through 15 as well as Photoshop® CS6 through CC.

High Resolution Images Supplied
High Resolution original source files will be supplied to each student (via download link once course is purchased) so you can work on the same photos that are in the notes and that the tutor is working on as well. We believe this aproach is a significant aid to learning what can be very complex techniques.

Full Colour, Illustrated PDF's
Carefully worded and appropriately illustrated PDF's are an integral part of our courses. Because lectures tend to have an effect which lasts only a short while, particularly if no notes are taken, we believe our pdfs are the key to making your newly gained knowledge much more long-lasting (notes supplied via direct download as soon as you book the course). You will receive over 80 pages of full colour, detailed notes for the course.
