LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS AND FIELD TRIPS
Guided photography workshops & field trips for all skill levels and cameras

OVERVIEW
These special Landscape Photography Workshops and Field Trips are designed to show you how to take great shots in every outdoor location, and does so with a completely new approach to photography training. Specific tips about each location are given, including direction as to the best locations. We tell you what settings to use for aperture, shutter speed and ISO. We tell you the best type of lenses to use and we'll even talk about how to use neutral density (ND) and Neutral Density Graduated Filters (ND Grads).

WORKSHOP STRUCTURE

  • An introductory, 60 minute long tutorial session will be given at the start to help you get the best out of the location.
  • Our special eBook, "Landscape Photography Tips for Beginners" will be the basis of this Workshop and Field Trip. This eBook will be emailed once the workshop is purchased
  • We will show you how to dial in the correct settings on your camera, including use of Aperture Priority Mode, Automatic Exposure Bracketing, how to maximise Depth of Field, how to use Shutter Speeds to blur water, how to use Mirror Lockup to ensure pin sharp shots
  • The shoot then lasts about 2 hours where you will be able to put all the tips learned into practice
  • We return to the venue where some of the shots taken on field trip are critiqued and worked on in Lightroom/Photoshop/Elements to show you what needs to be done to your photos after they are taken

FITNESS LEVEL
Most of our Workshop and Field Trips are suitable for those of a moderate fitness level. They take place mainly on flat ground, although some of them will have small inclines to climb and descend. Please see each individual Workshop and Field Trip description for specific details.

WHO ARE THESE WORKSHOPS AND FIELD TRIPS AIMED AT?
Our Workshops and Field Trips are designed for those with entry level skills, but who are looking to make the most out of their landscape photographs. We welcome all digital SLR's from every brand, which include CSC cameras, from Fuji, Olympus, Sony, and Panasonic.

We also are happy to host those with Bridge Cameras and high end Compact Cameras, as long as they allow you to change apertures.

We particularly welcome film cameras, as the workshop leader is an avid fan of film photography in all its forms.
